Job Title: Pediatric Professor

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Pediatric Professor to join our team at Chamberlain University.

Job Summary:

The Pediatric Professor will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in our Bachelor of Science in Nursing program, with a focus on pediatric nursing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric nursing, excellent teaching and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with students and colleagues.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach and mentor students in pediatric nursing courses
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of students and the healthcare industry
  • Assess and evaluate student learning and provide feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement clinical experiences for students
  • Stay current with industry developments and best practices in pediatric nursing
Qualifications:
  • Master's or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university
  • Unencumbered professional nursing license
  • At least two years of professional experience in pediatric nursing within the last five years
  • Teaching or precepting experience is preferred but not required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
