About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Intake Psychiatric Registered Nurse to join our team at Houston Behavioral Healthcare Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support.

Responsibilities:

  • Performing thorough nursing assessments and developing individualized care plans
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participating in medical emergencies and responding effectively to crisis situations
  • Conducting clinical assessments and monitoring patient progress
  • Managing medication regimens and ensuring accurate documentation

Requirements:

  • Licensure by the Texas Board of Nursing
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • 1 year of experience in intake behavioral health
  • CPR/SAMA certification within 30 days

Compensation and Benefits:

Estimated annual salary: $85,000 - $110,000 based on experience
