Requirements

  • Education and Experience: A college degree in a related field or equivalent education and experience, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in medical coding within a medical office setting.
  • Coding and Billing Expertise: Proficient in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems, with experience in medical billing, including insurance follow-up, payment posting, and collections.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
