Job Summary

AeroControlex is seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer to ensure the highest standards of quality and compliance with relevant regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing design plans, process procedures, and quality manuals to ensure compliance and product integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze design plans, process procedures, and quality manuals to ensure compliance and product integrity
  • Support the customer service team by providing analysis and expertise throughout the organizational processes related to the BMS
  • Identify root causes of problems in the BMS process and recommend corrective measures
  • Analyze data to identify trends in product quality and delivery or defects and mitigate recurrence
  • Ensure manufacturing processes comply with federal, state, local, and industry standards and regulations
  • Evaluate customer requirements and contractual obligations related to the BMS and processes
  • Develop and establish quality assurance measures for new applications, products, and enhancements
  • Liaise with suppliers to assess applications and systems under consideration for purchase
  • Analyze documentation and technical specifications of new applications to determine intended functionality
  • Conduct internal audits to measure adherence to established QA standards
  • Assist in the development of change control processes and guidelines for new and existing technologies
  • Cultivate and disseminate knowledge of quality assurance best practices
  • Perform light travel for training, customer, and supplier visits

Requirements:

  • 3 years of manufacturing experience
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Extensive knowledge of processes or ability to quickly learn
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to serve as liaison with developers, project managers, and customer support
  • Thorough understanding of federal, state, local, and industry standards, guidelines, and regulations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
