Job Summary

Amentum is seeking a highly experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee all maintenance activities at our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in complex aircraft maintenance, with a focus on turbine powered fixed-wing aircraft.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide daily oversight of all maintenance functions, ensuring compliance with safety directives, standard operating procedures, and technical manuals.

  • Direct a technical support staff to ensure maximum efficient operations of facilities, equipment, and machinery.

  • Coordinate the flow of maintenance and supervise maintenance status reporting.

  • Recommend equipment modifications for upgrades and develop and maintain preventative maintenance programs.

  • Assign and coordinate the work of maintenance staff and vendors.

  • Review and implement all mechanical specifications and manuals for current operations.

  • Coordinate specifications and procurement of capital expenditures.

  • Responsible for installation of equipment, preventative maintenance, and facility/equipment repair to support manufacturing.

  • Establish and track progress toward meeting the goals and objectives of process improvement procedures.

  • Ensure all direct reports and maintenance employees receive job and safety training. Recommend and initiate personnel actions.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience maintaining complex, turbine powered, fixed-wing aircraft, with ten (10) years multiple-site aircraft maintenance, including complex aircraft modifications.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Govt SECRET Security Clearance. NOTE: US Citizenship is required to obtain/maintain a US Govt Secret Clearance, and facility credentials and authorization to work at this facility.

  • Minimum education requires a High School diploma or equivalent.

  • Experience with C-26 A/B/C/D, C-26 Metroliner, UC-26C, SA227 Metro III
