Job Summary

Amentum is seeking a highly experienced Quality Assurance Manager to oversee all quality assurance activities for our complex aircraft maintenance programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance, with a focus on complex, turbine-powered aircraft.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality assurance programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure quality standards are met.

  • Provide guidance and training to operational personnel on quality assurance procedures and regulatory requirements.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.

  • Develop and maintain quality metrics and reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including FAA and industry standards.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and industry partners.

  • Provide leadership and guidance to quality assurance team members.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality assurance, with a focus on complex, turbine-powered aircraft.

  • Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) A&P Airframe and Powerplant Certification and current Inspection Authorization (IA) required.

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a quality assurance supervisor in an FAA FAR Part 145 Repair Station and 3 years FAR Par 91, 135 and/or 145 shops/facility management experience.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a US SECRET Security Clearance. US Citizenship is required to obtain/maintain a US Secret Clearance.

  • Minimum education requires a High School diploma or equivalent.
