Job Title: Adjunct Faculty in Chemistry

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty in Chemistry to join our team at Highline College. As an Adjunct Faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching General Chemistry courses, including lab sections, and contributing to the development of curriculum and instructional materials.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach General Chemistry courses, including lab sections, to students of varying skill levels and backgrounds.
  • Develop and implement curriculum and instructional materials that align with departmental and college-wide goals.
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback to students, colleagues, and administrators.
  • Participate in departmental and college-wide committees and initiatives to promote student success and faculty development.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree or higher in Chemistry or a related field.
  • Experience teaching General Chemistry courses, including lab sections, at the college level.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and administrators.
  • Ability to use technology, including learning management systems and online tools, to support teaching and learning.
