About the Role

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Loyola Medicine. As a key member of our Radiology department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic procedures and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI procedures at a technical level, providing optimal images for physician interpretation.
  • Prepare imaging suite equipment, procedural trays, and supplies to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and competence in the use and troubleshooting of equipment.
  • Inspect procedure rooms daily, restock supplies as needed, and maintain room cleanliness.
  • Assist physicians in the administration of contrast media, adhering to department guidelines.
Requirements
  • Associate Degree or equivalent training acquired via work experience or education.
  • Specific Degree: AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program.
  • Licensure/Certifications: American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT), CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) American Heart Association, and MRI Certification with ARRT or ARMRIT.
  • 3-5 years of previous job-related experience.
