Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior MRI Technical Specialist with extensive experience in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). This role involves working closely with the MRI Manager and Medical Director to develop and implement clinical imaging protocols across multiple facilities.

Key Responsibilities
The MRI Technical Specialist will serve as the technical expert in MRI, responsible for:

  • Developing and executing clinical imaging protocols for various MRI scanners.
  • Performing technical procedures and troubleshooting MRI parameters to ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging.
  • Providing education and training to staff and students, acting as a clinical instructor.
  • Collaborating with MRI Physicists on research projects and ensuring quality control for the modality.
  • Managing MRI programs in partnership with Radiology schools.

Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • An Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in MRI.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient knowledge of MRI equipment and procedures.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • A professional demeanor and positive attitude.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing situations.

Licensure and Certifications
Required:

  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
  • Certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI).
  • CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

Preferred:

  • Quality Management Certification (ARRT).
