*Seeking a Senior-Level MRI Technical Specialist*

Work Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday - Full-Time
  • 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
  • Occasional travel may be required for operational needs.
Position Responsibilities:

In this role, under the guidance of the MRI Manager and in collaboration with the MRI Medical Director, the MRI Technical Specialist will serve as the primary technical expert in magnetic resonance imaging. This position is responsible for the development and execution of clinical imaging protocols across various facilities. The specialist must possess extensive knowledge of MRI parameters and troubleshooting techniques. This role involves performing technical procedures that require independent judgment and creativity to ensure the highest quality diagnostic information is provided to physicians.

The MRI Technical Specialist will also take on the role of chief educator and clinical instructor for staff and students. This position collaborates with the MRI Physicist to oversee research projects, ensure quality standards for the modality, and act as a liaison among equipment vendors, physicians, and staff. Responsibilities include performing IQR and ACR accreditation.

Qualifications:
  • Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in MRI technology.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and situations simultaneously.
  • In-depth knowledge of MRI imaging equipment and procedures.
  • Professional demeanor and positive attitude.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing circumstances.
  • Involvement in problem-solving and performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
Licensure and Certifications:

Required:

  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
  • MRI Technologist certification.
  • CPR certification from an accredited organization.

Preferred:

  • Quality Management Certification (ARRT).
