Work Schedule:
Day

Key Responsibilities:
Extensive hands-on experience with Linux operating systems, including RedHat and Ubuntu, SUSE, Amazon Linux2, Amazon Linux 2023, CentOS.
Proficient in Linux command-line interface and shell scripting.
Experience in migrating and upgrading major versions of Linux operating systems (e.g., RHEL6 to 9 or RHEL7 to 9).
In-depth knowledge and practical experience with Veritas Infoscale clustering.
Hands-on experience with Pacemaker clustering.
Experience in deploying and managing Redhat satellite servers and Foreman.
OS security vulnerability management and patching Linux systems through satellite or Foreman.
Familiarity with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Terraform, and Docker container platforms.
Ability to deploy new physical hardware in data centers and configure them for redundancy.
Experience with virtualization technologies, including VMware or KVM.
Understanding of security best practices and experience in implementing security measures and hardening Linux systems.
Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, EFS, EBS, VPC, Cloudwatch, IAM, and Systems Manager.
Knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and services, including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, NTP, HTTP, LDAP, SMTP, and SNMP.
Familiarity with BeeGFS parallel filesystem and ZFS.
Experience in managing high-performance computing clusters.
Adherence to SOP, ITIL processes, and frameworks.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, engaging with cross-functional teams.
Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities to swiftly identify and resolve technical challenges.
