Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Crew Member to join our team at Fox Cities Builders. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting our onsite crews with various tasks related to concrete work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and placement of concrete, including raking and tying rebar.
  • Set and pour concrete walls, while maintaining a safe and organized jobsite.
  • Operate concrete tools and equipment, including Fox Cities Builders owned equipment.
  • Perform maintenance tasks on equipment and tools, including completing maintenance records on time.
  • Participate in Fox Cities Builders' safety culture, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
  • Assist with pouring or installation of agricultural/commercial concrete systems.
  • Keep project sites clean and appearance professional daily.
  • Ensure vehicle and equipment are cleaned and maintained as they are used.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • General knowledge of the construction industry required.
  • Preferred 2+ years' of general concrete laborer experience.
Physical Demands
  • Lift up to 100 pounds at times.
  • Stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and stand to operate and move heavy equipment.
  • Physically able to climb ladders, stairs, and into equipment as needed.
  • Physically able to walk on uneven, wet, slippery, or grainy surfaces.
Working Conditions
  • Work in all types of weather, including extremely hot and extremely cold temperatures.
  • Work in rain or snow types of conditions.
