Job Overview

Buddy's Home Furnishings is a leading Rent-To-Own retail provider of furniture, appliances, electronics, and computers in the United States. With an aggressive expansion strategy, we have added new company-owned and franchised stores nationwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the General Manager in directing store activities to ensure safe, professional, and profitable operations.
  • Meet company objectives, maintain quality standards, and adhere to company policies.
  • Implement sales and marketing programs to drive revenue growth.
  • Manage inventory, cash assets, and daily transactions.
  • Prepare and review store reports, and maintain detailed operating records.
Requirements
  • Two years' experience in Rent-to-Own, retail, or other business emphasizing customer service, account management, sales, and merchandising.
  • Effective organizational, selling, and communication skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in person and over the phone.
  • Regular and consistent attendance, including nights and weekends as business dictates.
Physical Requirements
  • Routine lifting, loading, and moving of merchandise (50-300 pounds) using a dolly.
  • Ability to traverse multiple flights of stairs while carrying furniture, appliances, and electronics.
  • Prolonged periods of driving and standing.
