The Job

This Medical Processing Manager role is a critical part of our Sterile Processing department, responsible for ensuring the highest quality care for our patients. If you have experience in sterilization of instruments, equipment and supplies or related experience in the operating room/acute hospital environment, we encourage you to apply.

Your Responsibilities

  • You will plan and direct the activities involved in the acquisition, decontamination, storage, assembly, and cleaning and sterilization of medical, surgical and related supplies, materials and equipment.
  • You will manage Sterile Processing department personnel to achieve established operational and quality goals.
  • You will direct and maintain quality control parameters for sterilization processes.
  • You will maintain and monitor inventory levels of supplies and instruments.
  • You will adhere to all MH policies, procedures, and standards.

Your Requirements

  • You should have a Bachelor's degree in Health Science or a related field preferred or five (5) years equivalent experience.
  • You should have minimum five (5) years of experience involving sterilization of instruments, equipment and supplies or related experience in the operating room/acute hospital environment.
  • You should have minimum three (3) years of supervisory experience.
  • You should have basic knowledge of budgeting concepts.
  • You should have knowledge of perioperative and materials management software programs.
  • You should have knowledge of Joint Commission and Association for Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) standards.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
