Position Summary:
We are in search of a proficient and seasoned Network and Systems Administrator to enhance and maintain our cloud and on-premises infrastructure. Your contributions will significantly influence our core high-performance, low-latency trading applications, directly impacting our business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement functional network solutions (LAN, WLAN, SDWAN, etc.).
- Configure and deploy various network devices and services, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, and QoS.
- Oversee and maintain network infrastructure, focusing on IP addressing, routing, and switching.
- Manage cloud environments and systems, specifically GCP and Azure.
- Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, KMS, NFS, DFS, SMTP, and clustering services.
- Supervise the setup, installation, and upkeep of operating systems and enterprise applications, including multiple SaaS solutions.
- Implement and oversee security protocols to safeguard data, software, and hardware.
- Monitor network and systems for security vulnerabilities and maintain a robust patch management strategy.
- Evaluate network performance to ensure system availability and reliability.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, system settings, and infrastructure inventories.
- Ensure data integrity and availability through regular backups and disaster recovery strategies.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for systems monitoring and incident management.
- Assist in developing IT support processes and provide advanced support to IT staff.
Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Network or Systems Administration, or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Proficient knowledge of IT operating systems, particularly Windows, MacOS, and Linux.
- Thorough understanding of Active Directory and associated services (AD, GPO, DNS, VPN).
- Strong technical skills and experience with various network protocols, software, and hardware relevant to LAN, WLAN, and SDWAN operations.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and diagnostic skills, complemented by effective communication abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a strong customer-service focus and the ability to collaborate within a team.
