Job Summary

We are seeking an Accounting Technician to join our team. As an Accounting Technician, you will play a critical role in processing accounts payable transactions, sorting mail, scanning documents, and working with Excel reports. You will also be responsible for identifying and initiating process improvements, working with accuracy, and providing outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Process accounts payable transactions, including processing a high volume of invoices daily.
  • Sort and distribute mail and packages.
  • Scan and digitize documents.
  • Work with Excel reports, sort within existing documents, and download queries.
  • Use multiple computer applications throughout the AP process.
  • Identify and initiate process improvements.
  • Work with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to our customers.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of accounting procedures and computer-based accounting (ERP) systems.
