Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit, hire, train, and retain a sufficient number of qualified staff to carry out the responsibilities of the Rehabilitation department.
- Ensure employee performance meets or exceeds expectations and conduct periodic performance appraisals.
- Collaborate with the Regional Rehabilitation Manager to ensure rehabilitation staff provides high-quality care to residents, adhering to established standards and principles of care.
- Supervise the scheduling of residents for therapy services, considering available treatment hours, staff resources, and overall plan of care.
- Manage the evaluation and development of in-house therapy programs, including equipment assessment and staffing ratios.
- Complete required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.
- May be required to perform patient care duties as their licensed discipline.
- Responsible for clinical and financial performance of the Rehabilitation department.
Requirements:
- Master's degree from an accredited school in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current valid state licensure as a PT, OT, or SLP where applicable.
- Three to Five (3-5) years' previous clinical experience preferred.
