Job Overview

Cayuga Counseling Services, Inc. is in search of a dedicated Full-Time Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR) Case Manager to provide essential support to children and adolescents in Cayuga County. This role is pivotal in delivering Psychosocial Rehabilitation services aimed at enhancing the developmental functioning of youth, facilitating their integration as active participants in their families and communities while minimizing the need for ongoing professional intervention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive referrals from licensed practitioners and establish initial contact with the designated client and their family.
  • Deliver rehabilitative services as outlined in the treatment plan, which may encompass social skills, daily living skills, and community engagement.
  • Provide services in diverse community settings where the child or youth resides, works, attends school, or engages in social activities.
  • Ensure services are delivered in a trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and linguistically appropriate manner.
  • Complete all necessary documentation promptly and accurately.
  • Submit timesheets through the payroll system in accordance with agency policies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent; a State Education Commencement Credential with a minimum of three years of experience in children's mental health, addiction, or human services is preferred, or hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field.
  • Must successfully pass all required background checks.
  • Valid NYS driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
