Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Family Services Coordinator to join our Permanency team at TFI Family Services, Inc. The successful candidate will work with children and families to ensure their safety and well-being, providing support and resources to help them thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with children and families to identify and address their needs, providing support and resources to help them achieve their goals.
- Develop and implement individualized plans to ensure the safety and well-being of children, including providing education and training to families.
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as social workers and therapists, to provide comprehensive support to families.
- Provide advocacy and support to families, connecting them with community resources and services to help them overcome challenges.
- Document and track progress, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of family interactions and outcomes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in human services or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in child placement or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and teamwork.
