Position Overview:
The Senior Vice President in the Investment Banking division will take a leading role in the execution of transactions related to middle-market mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOP), and special situation transactions. This position is crucial to our firm's advisory services in M&A and Capital Markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior banking professionals to enhance business growth through client engagement, prospecting, program management, and deal execution.
- Support the origination process, assess opportunities, and execute transactions across a variety of assignments, with a focus on developing expertise in Professional Services.
- Establish and maintain strong client relationships, primarily through transaction execution and related activities.
- Lead all facets of transaction execution, including team organization, stakeholder engagement, and the promotion of innovative product and advisory concepts.
- Oversee and mentor junior team members, ensuring timely delivery of project outputs while upholding high-quality standards.
- Manage complex financial modeling, pitch book creation, client relations, and logistical elements associated with transaction execution.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience, with at least 8 years in M&A investment banking preferred.
- Experience covering the end-to-end M&A lifecycle for a minimum of 5 years.
- Background in Business or Professional Services, particularly in tech-enabled and IT services, is preferred but not mandatory.
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, or Economics is required; an MBA is preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Office Suite, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
