Job SummaryWe're looking for a Registered Nurse to coordinate infusion care for patients in their homes. As an Infusion Coordinator, you'll work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide seamless care and achieve the goals of our nursing department. Your expertise will be essential in planning and implementing advanced nursing care for patients, adhering to our Professional Practice model and participating in educational activities and departmental committees.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate infusion care for patients in their homes.
- Utilize the nursing process to achieve the goals of the nursing department.
- Plan and provide advanced nursing care for patients, guided by our Professional Practice model.
- Participate in educational activities, departmental committees, and research projects as assigned.
- Provide nursing services to patients and families in accordance with the scope of the RN as defined by the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- Adhere to all rules and regulations of local, state, and federal agencies and accrediting bodies.
- 2+ years of experience as a clinical nurse preferred; at least 1 year of experience as a registered nurse required.
- Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing required.
- Registered Nurses are encouraged to enroll in a DUHS-approved BSN program after completing 2 years of service.
- Current registration with the North Carolina State Board of Nursing as a registered professional nurse.
- Compact RN licensure to practice in North Carolina or compact license with participating state required.
- BLS (or higher) certification required.
