Job Title: Production Supervisor

At DMA Industries, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team. As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our production line, ensuring that all processes are followed, and that employees are engaged and productive.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily supervisory oversight for the employees assigned to the production line.
  • Ensure a safe operating environment and that employees are following all safety protocols and policies.
  • Ensure employees are properly trained in their specific duty tasks and are cross-trained in various tasks performed within the department.
  • Organize and plan daily work, assign duties, set priorities, address concerns, and troubleshoot problems affecting team performance.
  • Determine manpower needs and work with management to ensure appropriate staffing levels are maintained.
  • Inspect and monitor work areas, examine tools and equipment, and detect and correct deviations from standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Prepare end-of-day productivity reports and provide additional warehouse supervision support as needed.
Requirements:
  • Strong people management skills and communication skills.
  • Ability to set clear goals, delegate tasks, and set deadlines.
  • Forklift experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift 10-25 lbs consistently during a complete shift.
  • Ability to stand, bend, and twist during a complete shift.
  • Computer and mathematical ability.
Education and/or Work/Skill Experience:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Higher level of education preferred.
  • Training, Safety, and First Aid experience a plus.
  • Computer and technology skills appropriate to perform job duties and reporting expectations.
  • Experience working in a production environment, supervising working employees of diverse backgrounds and cultures preferred.
