Position Overview:

The organization is in search of a proficient Quality Control Analyst to execute Quality Control evaluations in accordance with established procedures. This role encompasses adherence to specifications, testing methodologies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and regulatory guidelines to ensure timely support for production operations, following directives from supervisors or designated personnel.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry (Mandatory)
  • Fundamental knowledge of cGMP regulations

Professional Experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years in a professional analytical chemistry capacity

Technical Skills and Background:

  • Proficient in computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with laboratory data management systems such as Empower, Mass Hunter, LIMS, and Electronic Lab Notebooks
  • Capability to operate laboratory testing instruments
  • Availability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to interpret and convert various units of measurement
  • Mathematical skills: proficiency in basic arithmetic and percentage calculations
  • Competence in following written protocols and verbal instructions
  • Potential for a temporary to permanent position based on performance

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct analyses per client specifications, testing methods, and SOPs, ensuring compliance with current regulatory standards (e.g., cGMP, cGLP, cGDP)
  • Perform instrumental analyses using at least three of the following techniques: HPLC, Atomic Absorption, Flame Photometry, ICP-MS, Polarimetry
  • Prepare and submit precise and timely analytical reports for all laboratory activities
  • Prepare and standardize laboratory solutions
  • Maintain proper laboratory housekeeping as per established guidelines
  • Execute analytical testing and release of raw materials and packaging components as required
  • Conduct all tasks safely and in accordance with relevant testing methods and safety regulations
  • Analyze complaint and stability samples promptly and accurately, reporting any quality issues to the lab manager or designated personnel
  • Ensure analytical results are presented clearly and accurately
