Role Summary:

The Quality Control Analyst will be responsible for conducting Quality Control evaluations in accordance with established Client protocols, including Specifications, Test Methods, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and current Regulatory guidelines. This role is essential in supporting production processes by adhering to instructions from supervisors or designated personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct analyses following Client Specifications, Test methods, and SOPs while ensuring compliance with current regulatory requirements (e.g., cGMP, cGLP, cGDP).
  • Perform instrumental analyses using techniques such as HPLC, Atomic Absorption, Flame Photometry, ICP-MS, and Polarimetry.
  • Prepare and submit detailed and timely reports for all laboratory activities.
  • Maintain proper laboratory housekeeping in accordance with established procedures and GLPs.
  • Execute analytical testing and the release of raw materials and packaging components as required.

Compliance and Safety:

  • Adhere to test methods and SOP requirements, as well as safety regulations mandated by federal and state agencies.
  • Timely analysis of complaint and stability samples, reporting any quality issues to the lab Manager or designated personnel.
  • Ensure analytical results are accurate and well-documented.

Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of cGMP regulations.
  • Proficient in computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with laboratory data systems such as Empower, Mass Hunter, and LIMS.
  • Ability to operate laboratory testing equipment effectively.
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong mathematical reasoning skills.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
  • Potential for temp-to-hire opportunities based on performance.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a professional analytical chemistry role.

Language Proficiency:

  • Ability to read and comprehend English and Spanish.
