This position reports to the Office Manager and is a key member of the CHART (Clark Hill Administrative Response Team) supporting across offices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to attorneys, paralegals, and secretaries with scheduling, calendar management, transcription, and proofreading.
  • Assist with creating documents, spreadsheets, and correspondence, both internal and external, and maintain accurate and up-to-date filing of documentation.
  • Enter conflict information into the system for the purpose of running conflict checks for new clients.
  • Support the opening of new matters and assist with attorney monthly billing requirements.
  • Prepare letters, memos, and reports as required.
  • Perform reception desk duties and coverage as needed.
  • Support the CHART team with overflow assignments through BigHand.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • At least 3 years of office administrative work experience.
  • Previous experience working in a law-firm environment is preferred.

Desirable Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, and the ability to manage a diverse workload.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and responsibilities.
  • Team Player orientation.

Benefits:

  • Salary range: $40,000-$45,000 annually, based on a full-time work schedule.
  • Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
  • Participation in health insurance with optional HSA/FSA, short-term disability, long-term disability, dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, 401K, vacation, sick time, parking/public transportation allowance, and an employee assistance program.
