Job Summary

The NICU Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Nurse plays a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to assess, plan, and implement care for critically ill newborns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct clinical care to newborns, including resuscitation, intubation, and stabilization
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Perform procedures such as umbilical line placement, PIV insertion, and arterial blood draws
  • Interpret x-rays and other diagnostic tests to inform patient care decisions
  • Collaborate with consultants and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
