Community Autism Services, a branch of The Stepping Stones Group, is actively seeking Behavioral Support Technicians. We provide both full-time and part-time roles at our centers, with opportunities to gain experience in various environments including home, educational, and community settings.
Our dedicated team of clinical experts offers ongoing career development and advancement opportunities, along with extensive paid training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). We encourage individuals pursuing degrees in Psychology, Sociology, Early Childhood Development, Education, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Social Work, Counseling, and Mental Health to consider this opportunity.
Compensation: $25.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities
  • Behavioral Support Technicians report directly to the supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Collaborate with a program supervisor to instruct clients in developing communication skills, promoting play, building friendships, and enhancing independence while addressing challenging behaviors.
  • Collect, organize, and summarize behavioral data related to the treatment goals of each child.
  • Attend to toileting needs and assist with changing soiled clothing as necessary.
  • Maintain a professional and collaborative relationship with the caregivers of assigned clients.
  • Ensure the organization and cleanliness of the therapy space after each session.
  • Participate in Clinical Review meetings for individuals on the assigned caseload.
  • A commitment to consistent attendance and timely communication is essential.
  • Physical Requirements: The physical demands outlined here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, speak, and listen to children. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee must be able to push items weighing 50 lbs, such as pushing children on a bike, pulling a wagon, or moving/rearranging furniture. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Full-time schedules typically run from 7:45am-3:30pm in schools, 8:00am-4:00pm in centers, and 7:45am-7:00pm for combined settings.
  • Part-time schedules starting from 3:00pm, with flexibility for those balancing school commitments.
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination
  • Proof of Flu vaccination and annual renewal required
  • Experience in childcare is necessary
  • Bilingual Spanish is advantageous
