Job Title: Laboratory Technician

PB Leiner is a leading producer of high-quality gelatins and collagen peptides. We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team in the Chemistry and Microbiology Labs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Aseptically prepare samples for testing and prepare composite samples as needed.
  • Perform routine tests as assigned, following established test methods and reporting any issues or errors.
  • Prepare and send samples for outside laboratory testing, ensuring timely and accurate results.
  • Clean and maintain equipment, as well as calibrate and maintain instruments as needed.
  • Record data on lab worksheets, request sheets, and in databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Peer review of paperwork generated by other technicians, ensuring quality and accuracy.
  • Assist other laboratory technicians as needed, providing support and guidance when required.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of laboratory experience or an associate degree in chemistry, biology, microbiology, food science, or a related field with applicable laboratory coursework.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, with a strong work ethic and commitment to quality.
