Phlebotomy Technician

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is seeking a skilled Phlebotomy Technician to join our team. As a Phlebotomy Technician, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients in a variety of settings, including hospitals, clinics, and laboratories.

• Collect blood samples from patients using a variety of techniques, including venipuncture and capillary puncture.
• Prepare blood samples for testing by labeling, centrifuging, and splitting them according to established procedures.
• Transport blood samples to the laboratory for testing.
• Maintain accurate records of blood samples collected, including patient information and test results.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification or training required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods.

• Experience working in a laboratory or healthcare setting.
