CV Resources is seeking a highly skilled VP of Operations to join our team in Meridian, ID. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing all construction divisions and driving business success across the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership & People Management: Develop and implement an organizational structure, manage staffing, and ensure career development for leaders. Mentor direct reports and establish departmental goals aligned with the company's vision.
  • Strategic Planning & Financial Oversight: Direct P&L responsibilities, formulate business strategies, and develop annual plans. Review financial reports, support budgeting, and identify efficiencies.
  • Quality Control & Safety: Ensure accurate estimating, budget adherence, and project execution. Oversee safety goals and manage risks.
  • Training & Development: Identify training needs, support performance development, and ensure career growth for the operations team.
  • Process & Policy Improvement: Establish operational policies, review processes for improvement, and stay updated on regulations and legal issues.
  • Business Development & Contracts: Build relationships with stakeholders, represent the company in community events, and support contract negotiations.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years in executive management within construction or manufacturing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of construction industry practices and financial management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software; familiarity with Sage, TimberScan, and Procore is preferred.

Skills:

  • Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and lead teams effectively.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Additional Requirements:

  • Background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug test.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time and work in various environments, including construction sites.
