Job Title: Awake Overnight Direct Support Professional

Residential Services, Inc. (RSI) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Awake Overnight Direct Support Professional to join our team in Duluth, MN. As a key member of our residential care team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities and mental illness to live their best lives.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position working 10-hour shifts, with a four-day on, four-day off schedule. The shift hours are 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. As an Awake Overnight Direct Support Professional, you will be responsible for providing direct care and support to individuals in our adult foster care home, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as medication administration, personal hygiene, and meal preparation
  • Support individuals with behavioral management, including de-escalation techniques and crisis intervention
  • Encourage and facilitate community involvement, such as outings, social events, and recreational activities
  • Develop and maintain meaningful relationships with individuals, families, and colleagues
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure person-centered care and support
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred
  • Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities and mental illness
  • Ability to pass a post-offer background check and obtain a valid driver's license
