Job Title: Awake Overnight Direct Support Professional

Residential Services, Inc. (RSI) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Awake Overnight Direct Support Professional to join our team at our adult foster care home in Duluth, MN. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in helping individuals with disabilities and mental illness live their best lives.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position working 10-hour shifts, with four days on and four days off. The shift schedule is from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. As a Direct Support Professional, you will be responsible for assisting individuals with daily tasks, providing emotional support, and promoting independence.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist individuals with daily living tasks, such as medication administration, personal hygiene, and meal preparation
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals
  • Encourage and support individuals in achieving their goals and aspirations
  • Assist with household duties and maintenance
  • Participate in community activities and outings
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to pass a post-offer background check
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass an MVR check (if applicable)
