KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE Licensed Physical Therapist:
As a Licensed Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of care provided to residents. Your responsibilities will include:
- Exemplifying outstanding customer service and public relations to foster a positive professional image
- Working autonomously with meticulous attention to detail while understanding all facets of daily operations
- Conducting thorough assessments of residents' physical abilities, including range of motion, strength, balance, and mobility
- Creating tailored treatment plans based on assessment results, resident objectives, and physician input
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure cohesive care
- Implementing therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other rehabilitation techniques to enhance residents' physical capabilities
- Focusing on improving residents' mobility and independence, taking into account aspects such as bed mobility, transfers, and ambulation
- Demonstrating professionalism and compassion, serving as a representative of the organization
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE Licensed Physical Therapist:
- Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Successful completion of the National Certification Examination
- At least 1 year of verifiable, supervised professional experience within the last 3 years
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Active PT license in the state of Georgia
