Physical Therapist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our client's rehabilitation team. The Physical Therapist will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with physical disabilities, injuries, or diseases through therapeutic exercises, functional training, and other physical therapy modalities. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
Compensation: $41.00 - 48.00 per hour
Shifts: 8:00AM - 4:30PM
Hours per week: 35 hours
Schedule: Monday - Friday (no weekend rotation)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations to determine functional limitations, strengths, and areas for improvement.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on the patients condition, goals, and needs.
- Implement physical therapy interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and the use of modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and heat/cold therapy.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and home care strategies to enhance recovery and prevent further injury.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nurses, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Stay current with advancements in physical therapy and participate in continuing education opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Ensure a safe, supportive, and professional environment for all patients.
Educational/Vocational Requirements:
- hey must have a valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license and eligibility.
- They must have a Master's degree in Physical Therapy; or
- They must have a Master's degree in a Physical Therapy related field in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy;
- They must have a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience.
- The qualifying Physical Therapy degree earned outside of the U.S. must be evaluated to be the U.S. equivalent to a degree in Physical Therapy.
