Transform Your Career with Year Up United

Year Up United is a one-year intensive job training program that empowers young adults with in-classroom skill development, access to internships and/or job placement services, and personalized coaching and mentorship.

The program combines technical and professional training with access to internships and job placement support through our industry-leading talent placement firm YUPRO Placement. As part of the program, participants may have the opportunity to secure internships at renowned organizations such as Bank of America, Capital One, JPMorgan Chase, or Salesforce.

To be eligible for this life-changing experience, you must:

  • Be between 18-29 years old
  • Be a high school graduate or GED recipient
  • Be eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Be available Monday-Friday throughout the duration of the program
  • Be highly motivated to learn technical and professional skills
  • Not have obtained a Bachelor's degree

Upon completion of the program, you will gain:

  • Professional business and communication skills
  • Interviewing and networking skills
  • Resume building expertise
  • Ongoing support and guidance to launch your career
  • Some coursework eligible for college credit

During the internship phase, participants earn an educational stipend of $525 per week. In-depth classes include:

  • Application Development & Support
  • Business Fundamentals
  • Banking & Customer Success
  • Helpdesk/Desktop Support

Average starting salary for employed graduates is $53,000 per year. A remarkable 80% of Year Up United graduates are employed and/or enrolled in postsecondary education within four months of graduation.
