Role Summary: The Community Based Contract Compliance Auditor will be an integral part of a regional team dedicated to the oversight and evaluation of community-based contracted service providers. This role involves conducting thorough on-site assessments and audits across various DCS regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular audits and reviews of community-based services to ensure compliance with established standards and regulations.
  • Travel extensively within designated regions to perform evaluations of DCS provider locations.
  • Participate in quarterly meetings at the Central Office to align with division objectives and share insights.
  • Develop and implement corrective action plans in response to identified discrepancies in service delivery and billing practices.
  • Collaborate with a statewide team through regular meetings to enhance audit processes and share best practices.
  • Educate providers on compliance standards and assist in improving their operational practices.
  • Document findings and prepare reports that detail compliance levels and recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience in auditing or investigations.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams.
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines consistently.
  • Experience in developing and executing audit corrective action strategies.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant state laws, policies, and service standards.
