Job Title: CVOR Technologist

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled CVOR Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Job Description & Requirements

As a CVOR Technologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and technical support in the cardiovascular operating room. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures and maintaining a safe and efficient environment.

Responsibilities
  • Performs treatments per protocols.
  • Functions proficiently in scrubbing, 2nd circulating, and 3rd person/Heart Holder roles of the CVOR.
  • Picks supplies for surgeries, sets up instruments and scrubs for surgical procedure, and performs instrument and sponge count accurately.
  • Obtain specimens, hand over to circulating nurse and verifies location.
  • Facilitates room turnover time.
  • Participates in department on-call schedule.
