The successful candidate will have a strong technical understanding of how game engines work and a minimum of 15+ years of experience in shipping AAA online games. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated past experience in shipping AAA online games, a minimum of 2 years of Unreal Engine experience, and strong technical understanding of how game engines work. The role will involve implementing Unreal shaders, integrating art assets into Unreal engine, optimizing assets for memory usage and frame rate, and helping with SFX, lighting, animation, and sound when needed. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to play test the game and provide feedback. The company offers competitive pay and benefits, a highly creative and collaborative start-up culture, and the freedom to dip your toes into other disciplines and influence others beyond the boundaries of your role. The base pay range for this position is $135,600 to $283,200 per year. A sign-on payment, relocation package, and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as other medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the specific position offered. The company has created over 50 games across multiple platforms and genres for more than 4 billion registered users. It is the co-developer of worldwide hit PUBG MOBILE (co-developed with KRAFTON, Inc.).
