Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our float pool position. As a key member of our nursing team, you will provide high-quality patient care across various medical settings, including adult medical/surgical, pediatric medical/surgical, critical care, oncology, adult emergency, and pediatric emergency departments.

Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive assessments on all patients within the appropriate time frame using skills of observation, communication, and examination
  • Develop individualized patient care plans, identifying problems/needs, nursing diagnoses, standards of care/practice, interventions, and attainable outcomes
  • Care for patients with diverse needs, including those with acute and chronic conditions, requiring complex medical interventions and treatments
  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care transitions and optimal outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, including vital signs, medication administration, and treatment plans
Requirements
  • Diploma or degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
  • Licensed in the State of Tennessee
  • BLS certification within 90 days of hire
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
