Williamson Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a PRN Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery. This is a unique opportunity to work in an environment that prioritizes patient care and well-being.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive obstetric, neonatal, and gynecologic nursing care to patients. With a focus on delivering exceptional medical and emotional support, this role is ideal for a dedicated and compassionate nurse who values holistic patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement effective patient care plans.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient care, including medication administration, treatments, and test results.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge in obstetric, neonatal, and gynecologic nursing.
  • Contribute to a supportive and inclusive work environment, promoting respect and empathy among colleagues and patients alike.

Requirements

  • Licensed by the State of Tennessee.
  • Earned a nursing diploma or degree from a college or university.
  • BLS within 90 days of hire.
  • At least one year perinatal experience preferred.
  • Certified Lactation Consultant, preferred.
  • NRP within six months of hire.
  • ACLS certification or agree to obtain within six months of hire.
  • Level I, Level II and fetal monitoring within 1 year of hire.

Working Conditions

This role involves working in a fast-paced healthcare environment, requiring strong communication and organizational skills. The ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritize tasks, and maintain attention to detail is essential. Additionally, the successful candidate must be able to lift up to 250 pounds with assistance.

Salary Information

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $115,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, we provide opportunities for professional growth and development, tuition reimbursement, and a generous PTO policy.
