About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Advanced Practice Registered Nurse to join our team as an Intensive Care Nurse Practitioner. As a key member of our critical care team, you will provide high-quality patient care, collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and contribute to the development and implementation of comprehensive treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess patients' physical and mental conditions through comprehensive physical examinations and medical histories.
  • Order, collect, interpret, and evaluate laboratory and diagnostic tests to inform patient care decisions.
  • Prescribe medications, recommend therapies, and perform procedures according to approved protocols and policies.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments, evidence-based medicine, and professional guidelines.
  • Counsel patients and families regarding medical processes, health promotion, and disease prevention.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of patient care activities.

Requirements

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or licensure with compact privilege.
  • Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the state of Texas.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
  • Certification from an accredited board as an APRN for the patient population of focus required.

Compensation and Benefits

Our competitive compensation package includes:

  • A salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
