Thermal Systems Engineer

Mach Industries is a leading defense manufacturing company that designs and builds cutting-edge weapons for the Department of Defense. We are seeking an experienced Thermal Engineer to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, analyze, and optimize thermal management systems for Mach's products.
- Perform thermal analysis using simulation tools and experimental methods to predict and validate thermal performance of flight vehicles and propulsion systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate thermal solutions into product designs.
- Develop and implement thermal testing procedures, including thermal cycling and environmental testing.
- Conduct failure analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve thermal issues.
- Support product development from concept through production, ensuring thermal requirements are met.
- Prepare technical documentation, including thermal analysis reports and design guidelines.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in thermal engineering within the aerospace or defense industry.
- Proficiency in thermal analysis software and simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, Fluent, Thermal Desktop).
- Strong understanding of heat transfer principles and thermal management techniques.
- Experience with thermal testing and validation methods.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
