Clinical Nurse Coordinator - Bone Marrow Transplant

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our Bone Marrow Transplant team at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide exceptional care to patients undergoing bone marrow transplants, working closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination of care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical support to staff members and assist with coordinating care for a caseload of ambulatory patients receiving Allo and Auto transplants.
  • Perform intake eligibility assessments, coordinate care, and assist with management of patients receiving Car T Cell therapy.
  • Provide patient and family education, acting as a resource for patients and their loved ones throughout the treatment process.
  • Participate in an individualized training/orientation program geared to providing nursing care in an ambulatory setting.

Requirements:

  • New York State RN license and BSN
  • 2 years recent experience with Hematology Oncology patients desirable
  • 1.5 years of oncology experience in bone marrow transplant/liquid tumor highly preferred
  • BMT National certification strongly preferred
  • Ambulatory care experience preferred
