Responsibilities- Medical Care and Support: Provide immediate care and treatment for injuries and illnesses, as well as long-term rehabilitation and prevention strategies.
- Equipment and Supply Management: Maintain and furnish safety equipment and supplies, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our student-athletes.
- Training and Education: Provide first aid and CPR training to staff and coaches, as well as educate student-athletes on injury prevention and management.
- Communication and Collaboration: Liaise with outside physicians and healthcare facilities, as well as collaborate with training staff and coaches to ensure seamless care and support.
- Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date training records and reports, ensuring compliance with NCAA and institutional regulations.
- Education: Master's degree in Athletic Training or a related field from an accredited program.
- Certifications and Licenses: Certification from the Board for Athletic Trainers, CAATE, NTA, or other accredited body for Athletic Trainers.
- Experience: 1-2 years of job-related experience in athletic training or a related field.
