Our Management in Training program is designed to equip you with the skills, knowledge, and experience required for promotion to management or supervisory roles.

Purpose and Responsibilities
  • Shadow employees and management to learn and perform assigned duties in various departments.
  • Gain industry knowledge, functional processes, and practices through hands-on experience.
  • Develop skills in operational areas such as yard operations, millwork, production, dispatch/scheduling/delivery, safety, sales, finance, and human resources.
  • Participate in the development of operating budgets and capital expenditure recommendations.
  • Complete assigned training programs and participate in ongoing professional development.
Requirements and Competencies
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong customer service skills, mathematical aptitude, and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills, including tact and influencing, with internal and external contacts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and ERP applications.
Work Environment and Physical Activity

The physical demands of this role include lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds frequently and on occasion up to 80 pounds. You may be required to perform tasks that involve climbing, lifting, pushing, or kneeling. The work environment is typically moderate noise level, with occasional exposure to outside locations with temperature and weather variations.
