We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team and drive sales growth within the countertop fabrication sector.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for cultivating and expanding relationships with countertop fabrication shops, promoting our high-quality granite slabs and other stone products. We are looking for a strategic and customer-focused individual capable of understanding the unique needs of countertop fabricators and effectively conveying the value of our offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospecting and Lead Generation:
- Identify and target countertop fabrication shops as potential customers.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitors.
- Employ strategic methods, including cold calling and networking, to generate leads.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and nurture strong relationships with existing and prospective countertop fabrication clients.
- Understand the specific requirements of countertop fabricators and offer tailored solutions using our diverse stone product range.
- Act as a trusted advisor, providing insights and recommendations based on industry expertise.
- Product Presentations and Demonstrations:
- Conduct engaging presentations and demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of our granite slabs and stone products.
- Effectively communicate technical details to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Quoting and Negotiation:
- Prepare detailed quotes for granite slabs and other stone products.
- Negotiate terms and pricing to ensure mutually beneficial agreements with countertop fabrication shops.
- Sales Reporting and Forecasting:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance and forecasts to the sales management team.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in outside sales, with a focus on selling granite slabs and stone products to countertop fabrication shops.
- In-depth knowledge of granite and stone products and their applications in the countertop industry.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet ambitious sales targets.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
