ProCare Therapy is excited to partner with a reputable educational institution in search of a committed Behavioral Support Specialist. This role is essential for fostering a positive learning environment for students facing behavioral challenges.
Key Responsibilities:- Execute behavior intervention strategies as outlined by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to assist students with behavioral difficulties.
- Deliver individualized or small group instruction tailored to students' unique education plans (IEPs).
- Monitor and document student progress and behavior utilizing specified assessment tools.
- Work collaboratively with educators, guardians, and other school personnel to ensure uniform application of behavior strategies across various settings.
- Contribute to the formulation of innovative behavior intervention techniques as required.
- Engage in team discussions, training sessions, and professional growth opportunities.
- Uphold the confidentiality of student records and adhere to professional ethical standards.
- Prior experience in educational or pediatric settings is advantageous.
- Must hold RBT certification for California.
- Exemplary interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Capability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and peers.
