The Quality Control Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring that products meet rigorous quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. This position involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at maintaining high levels of quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities:- Inspection and Monitoring: Regularly assess products at various stages of production to confirm adherence to quality benchmarks.
- Quality Testing: Perform systematic quality tests, document findings meticulously for audit purposes, and communicate any issues to the Quality Control Supervisor.
- Product Approval: Authorize finished goods for distribution, eliminate defective items during production, and verify that no outdated raw materials are utilized.
- Calibration and Audits: Participate in quality calibrations and internal audits, while also providing guidance to junior staff on safety and quality protocols.
- Collaboration: Work in tandem with management and production teams to maintain exceptional production quality and address any customer feedback.
- This is a full-time role within the weekday team, operating from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Thursday.
- Flexibility for potential overtime or adjustments in schedule may be required based on production demands and quality assessments.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills, along with basic computer knowledge.
- Prior experience in quality control, inventory oversight, packaging, and material handling is advantageous.
- Physical capability to lift over 75 lbs and remain standing for extended periods (3+ hours).
- Dependable transportation and a strong commitment to upholding high production and safety standards are essential.
