Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Senior Technician to join our team at Cleveland Clinic Akron General Medical Center. As a Senior Technician, you will play a vital role in providing top-quality patient care in our Acute Care, Urology, and Plastics unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patient units, rooms, and beds for admission, transfer, or emergencies.
  • Provide and document assigned care, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Assist with pre-operative and post-operative care, including turning and positioning patients, applying special equipment, and ambulating patients.
  • Perform hourly safety rounds, anticipate patient needs, and respond to patient call lights promptly.
  • Document patient care in the electronic medical record.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Association (AHA) or obtain certification during new hire period.
  • Prior job or educational experience providing basic computer knowledge and skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA).
  • One year of recent acute care experience.
