Brooks Automation is seeking a skilled Electronics Assembler to join our team in Chelmsford, MA. As a key member of our assembly operations team, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of electronic, mechanical, and electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform a variety of electronic, mechanical, or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies.
- Determine and/or follow methods and sequence of operations in functions such as performing wiring, component installation, kit assembly, and on-assembly units.
- Make setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.
- Ensure that all work is completed in a timely, safe, and efficient manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Report any quality or safety issues to management immediately.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in electronic/mechanical assembly.
- Knowledge of basic assembly techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Familiarity with hand and power tools.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
- Moderate computer skills.
